PRESIDENT CARTER FEATURED IN PODCAST
What's the right thing to do? Ted Carter had to ask himself that in April 1999 when, as a Navy commander, he led a 30-plane bombing mission to take out a bridge near Kosovo. A bridge being used to carry out genocide operations. Seconds before releasing the bombs, Carter's team realized civilians were on the bridge.
Today, Carter is putting his years of military experience to good use as president of the University of Nebraska system. The retired Navy admiral has put together a plan that will help Nebraska's only public university grow and thrive despite the current background of uncertainty.
Hear more about the choices he is making — and what happened on that 1999 Kosovo mission — in the latest "Leading Nebraska" Podcast.
