The UNO Golden Circle is comprised of retired faculty and staff and university graduates age 65+. The group was formed at a reunion in 1984 honoring the class of 1934.

Today, members meet monthly, ten months of the year, for Golden Circle Lunch Bunches at the Thompson Alumni Center.

Bing Chen, Ph.D., Professor, UNL Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering 

 

Dr. Chen began working with the University of Nebraska system right as OU was becoming UNO  and assisted in the creation of UNO’s College of Engineering before its merger with UNL in 1970. Join us to hear more about his story and the developments of the college during his nearly 59-year tenure.

Senior Passport Program

The Senior Passport Program is available to individuals who are at least 65 years of age. Senior learners may attend and "sit in" on undergraduate courses (courses numbered 1000 - 4999) on a space-available basis and with the instructor's permission. Online courses are not available for Passport learners.

Passport learners may attend up to two classes per semester for a once-per-year, non-refundable $25 fee. Your year begins at the time your first class is attended.
