UNO Alumni Chapters
UNO Alumni Chapters are an extension of the UNO Alumni Association, linking alumni with the university while providing opportunities to network with fellow Mavericks in their city.
Just like the UNO Alumni Association, membership in a UNO Alumni Chapter is free!
Chapter members serve as ambassadors for UNO in their city and attend social events and activities throughout the year where they can network and have fun with fellow alumni and friends. Each chapter also has a LinkedIn group where alumni can stay connected and share opportunities and additional ways to engage.

UNO ALUMNI CHAPTER LEADERSHIP
Each UNO Alumni Chapter has a volunteer lead. A UNO Alumni Chapter Lead is a two-year volunteer commitment.
UNO Alumni Chapter Lead Responsibilities
• Act as the main point of contact for chapter members and the UNO Alumni Association.
• Plan and host a minimum of two gatherings a year. This may include a Mavs on the Move event co-hosted by the UNO Alumni Association.
• Attend Mavs on the Move and help promote to chapter members when in their host city.
• Collect photos from gatherings and share with UNO Alumni Association.
• Identify and recruit Maverick alumni and friends to join the chapter.
• Monitor the LinkedIn Group regularly and facilitate engagement.
• Promote Wear Black, Give Back online and through in-person events.
• Have fun!
