Alumni Professorships

The UNO Alumni Association provides 12 professorships, which have totaled more than $1.2 million since they were instituted in 1983 during UNO’s Diamond Jubilee celebration. The professorships recognize distinguished faculty performance in teaching and research. Professorships were named in honor of longtime faculty members who served with distinction in their respective academic areas.
