"UNO Alumni Night on the Ice. We have always taken our three children, and one year we also brought a neighbor’s child who had a great time.

Favorite memory:
"It is always fun attending the pre-game festivities and getting a chance to hear the coach and former players speak. Our kids always look forward to the facepainting and games that are available in the lobby, and then attending the game afterwards, of course!"

Large crowd celebrates UNO Alumni Night on the Ice More than 400 Mav fans joined the UNO Alumni Association at the CenturyLink Center on March 3 for the ninth annual UNO Alumni Night on the Ice. UNO faculty, staff, students, graduates and their families enjoyed a buffet reception, door prizes, UNO tattoos, Hockey 101 with former Maverick hockey players and performances from Maverick Cheerleaders and the UNO Hockey Band. Durango himself even made an appearance! After pregame activities guests sat together in designated lower bowl seating for UNO's final regular season game against nationally ranked Denver.
