Alumni Professorships
The UNO Alumni Association provides 12 professorships, which have totaled more than $1.2 million since they were instituted in 1983 during UNO’s Diamond Jubilee celebration. The professorships recognize distinguished faculty performance in teaching and research. Professorships, each three-year awards, were named in honor of longtime faculty members who served with distinction in their respective academic areas.
