Mentors sought for UNO International Professional Development program
Want to learn about the world and other cultures — without even leaving home?
UNO alumni are encouraged to become a mentor to professionals from all over the world who are at UNO studying English communication and leadership skills for eight weeks.
Professionals need a mentor to help with:
• Locating Omaha events/locations that complement their interests
• Proofing English writing assignments and feedback on professional presentations
• General conversation to strengthen informal and professional English vocabulary
• Connecting them to individuals in their field of expertise
Mentors can meet with their professionals for as little as an hour a week by phone, email or face-to-face!
