Once again, UNOAA is partnering with UNO’s Office of Civic and Social Responsibility to offer alumni the opportunity to work alongside students, faculty and staff on community engagement and service projects. Alumni Global Day of Service last year had national and global reach, with alumni serving in cities throughout the United States and even in Spain and Germany. 

Alumni who participate in 2019 projects are encouraged to bring family and friends — this is a great opportunity for youth to get service hours. Participants will meet at UNO and be transported to a project they sign up for around Omaha. The work is not strenuous, but the few hours you serve will be memorable and rewarding. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Projects outside Omaha
Alumni outside Omaha are encouraged to initiate their own service project on March 23 wherever they live — cleaning litter, helping at a shelter, serving youth, etc. Project photos will be shared in UNO Magazine and on social media. To pledge for a service project outside Omaha, use the sign-up link above. For ideas or help starting such a project, email unoserve@unomaha.edu.
