The Career Closet provides UNO students with FREE professional attire. All students are welcome to browse our collection of new and gently used clothes at Career Closet pop-up shop events.
The Career Closet is made possible through generous donations from alumni and friends. Join us in helping future Forever Mavericks build their professional closet for interviews, career fairs, jobs and more.
Since its launch in 2024, the Career Closet has helped more than 1,200 UNO students dress for success!

UNO students are invited to shop for FREE new and gently used professional clothing items for interviews, internships, career fairs, jobs and more. A variety of sizes and styles are available to help you dress for success.
Pop-up shops are open to all UNO students and made possible through by UNO alumni and friends volunteers and donations.
Volunteer to help set up the shop, welcome UNO students, assist them with finding free professional attire, help keep the pop-up shop organized, or close the shop at the end of the event.

We are not currently accepting clothing donations, but we do need storage and organization items to help us prepare for future pop-up shop events.

Mavericks support Mavericks. You can increase equitable opportunities for all students by providing access to professional clothing and clothing that fits all body types and levels of expression. Additionally, you can promote sustainable fashion by offering your unused clothing items to a fellow Maverick instead of a landfill.
Pre-washed, ready-to-wear, business-professional or business-casual attire. Some examples include button-up shirts and blouses, dresses, pants, skirts, blazers and ties. All clothing must be free of holes and stains.
Donations can be made during our clothing drive drop-off dates or by emailing [email protected] to coordinate a donation drop-off.
The career closet strives to be size-inclusive and offers a variety of professional clothing in a wide range of sizes. If, by chance, we don’t have something in your size, please let us know so we can expand our offerings.
All Career Closet clothing is for UNO students to keep.
