Catering at the Thompson Center is handled exclusively by Brandeis Catering, the Thompson Center’s catering partner since 1999. The company, voted Omaha's best caterer seven straight years in Best of B2B surveys, is headquartered at the Georgetowne Club in west Omaha.
Whether you are planning a large wedding reception or a small dinner party, Brandeis' professional catering staff works with you from start to finish to make your event a memorable occasion. Each detail, no matter how small, is taken care of, allowing you and your guests to relax and enjoy the event.

The Catering Process
Once you have reserved your event date and paid your deposit (if applicable) for a catered event, Brandeis staff will contact you to begin planning your function. Its event planners can meet with you in person or help plan your event over the phone or through email — whatever is most convenient for you.

Brandeis Catering employs a team of classically trained chefs who look forward to creating a meal you will be proud to serve your guests. Its professional event planners receive ongoing training at national conferences and look forward to sharing new ideas with you.

Wedding clients can bring their own cake, nuts and mints. The Brandeis staff provides complimentary cake service if requested. That includes a server, cake knife tall flute toasting glasses for the head table, silk centerpieces for the buffet, bowls and trays for mints and nuts, and a complimentary bottle of champagne for the bride and groom.
Built into Brandeis menu prices is a personal event supervisor and planner; professional wait-staff on-site from set-up through clean-up; and, complete china place settings, including flatware, glassware at the bar, table linen, napkins and skirting for tables. Round mirror tiles and non-scented votive candles also can be used as centerpieces free of charge. Other caterers charge extra for many of the items and services Brandeis offers for free.
