Join fellow alumni for a special evening out. Start the night with a cocktail reception at the Omaha Press Club celebrating the publication of Wendy Townley’s new book, "Nerdy Thirty." Following the reception, make your way to the Holland Performing Arts Center to see international swing
band Pink Martini perform live with the Omaha Symphony.
Townley, who earned a journalism degree from UNO, will be joined by "Inklings" author Jeff Koterba and "Are You Going To Eat That?" author Michael Campbell. Koterba attended classes at UNO; Campbell received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UNO.
Attendees will enjoy cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres while listening to readings from Townley, Koterba and Campbell.
The cost of this event is only $35 and includes one cocktail and light hors d'oeuvres at the Omaha Press Club and a ticket to Pink Martini. The Omaha Press Club reception will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Pink Martini takes the stage at the Holland at 8pm.
