Mavs on the Move
When grads can't make it home to UNO, UNO makes it to grads. That's the idea behind Mavs on the Move, a UNO Alumni Association outreach program to graduates around the country. Join us at these upcoming Mavs on the Move events!
Feb. 6 — Scottsdale/Phoenix
Attention Phoenix- and Scottsdale-area UNO grads, join us Monday, Feb. 6, for all this fun: 5:30 p.m. — Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Tour,  7555 N. Pima Road  Join fellow UNO alumni for a tour of the fabulous new spring training home of the Diamondbacks and Rockies.   7:00 p.m. — Reception, AJO Al's Mexican Cafe, 70th St. and Shea Boulevard Join us for a low-key, high-fun reception! UNO Chancellor John Christensen will give a university update and Mav Baseball Coach Bob Herold will talk about his team’s historic transition to Division I baseball! Also, Nick Stergiou of UNO's outtanding Nebraska Biomechanics Core Facility will address the cutting-edge research his lab conducts. Heavy appetizers provided with Door Prizes & UNO Trivia! Attention Denver- and Colorado Springs-area UNO grads: UNO Hockey is coming your way to take on Colorado College Friday, Feb. 17!
