UNIVERSITY NEWS UNO takes aim at Division I; Mavs to drop football, wrestling
The Omaha World-Herald on Sunday, March 13, reported that UNO is planning a move to Division I athletics as part of the Summit league for basketball and other sports.
The proposal — pending approval by the NU Board of Regents — include plans to drop UNO's longtime football and wrestling programs.
